Lovers Point Park. This park is located at the foot of 17th Street, just half a mile from Pacific Grove Inn. Activities include picnicking, fishing, swimming, water sports, and surfing. Amenities include a large lawn area, a beach volleyball court, a children's swimming pool, sandy beaches, rocky outcrops, a concrete pier structure, a restaurant, and a snack bar. Point Piños Lighthouse. The Lighthouse is located on the northern most tip of the Monterey Peninsula, marking the entrance to Monterey Bay. Built in 1855, the building, lenses and prisms of the light are all original.
